Dear students and colleagues,


we are looking for student assistants who want to support the upcoming election of the staff council of student assistants or candidates that want to run for the next student staff council.


Till October the 23rd we need 3-5 student assistants to support the student staff election board. The board will manage and prepare everything for the elections, ahead and afterwards. It will take 2 months of organization and we want to start in October 2019.


1) What does it mean to work for the election board?

  • paid organization of the election (2 to 6 hours per week, depending on the stage of preparation).

  • exemption from regular work (every minute spend for the election board, you dont have to do your regular work).

  • legal-workshop by a lawyer or unions.

  • your own office in Berlin Mitte, Ziegelstraße 13c; near the Grimm library.



What else can you do?


You want to help but the election board team does suit you? We need your help with other tasks! You can work as a polling clerk or be candidate for the next student staff council!


During the electiondays we need you as a polling clerk to support the election board team. Those will be the polling clerks.


2) supporting team for the election - polling clerks

  • preparation of election during the election week (probably in December 2019, otherwise in January 2020).

  • observation the election rules.

  • handing out the ballot paper to the voter.

  • in total you will work less than 5 hours a week.


3) candidate for the next staff council
